[HL2] Higher Ammo Capacity (No sv_cheats 1)

Tired of running out of ammo that the Colt Python .357, AR2 and Shotgun don't carry enough? Well I am here to help you guys out, and the good thing is it won't block any achievements - that is triggered by using "sv_cheats 1".


Locate "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2\cfg\skill.cfg" and open file with NotePad and find like for Overpulse rifle = "sk_max_ar2 60". You can change this value to "sk_max_ar2 150" to have more than twice the ammo! The way I set my skill.cfg for those following weapons is this:-


sk_max_357 30
sk_max_ar2 150
sk_max_ar2_altfire 5
sk_max_grenade 10
sk_max_rpg_round 5
sk_max_buckshot 60
sk_max_smg1_grenade 5
sk_max_crossbow 20
sk_max_pistol 200


Load up HL2 client and you should have it working! Simple as that.
