If you are keen or curious on using this mClassic to enhance your video quality and most importantly for retro games that are too blocky or pixely that causes eye straining and head aches, well don't get your hopes up as this dongle is nowhere as good in 4K or even in native 240p mode. Also for Handheld games like the Game Boy, Game Gear as well as the Atari Lynx; plus the very old 8-bit Atari 2600s then you will definitely need to upscale the video near for 480p as it cannot work for way below its native resolution of 320x240. mClassic only add more colour depth, smoothen the picture quality a bit as well use the antialiasing - but the AA doesn't work freely or extremely low res pictures. And using the RetroTink or that needs some reconfigurations in order for the mClassic to work on a particular video mode and resolution. But with using the RetroPie or anything similar that includes RetroArch - along with xBR or better in a minimum of 480p, then the mClassic will work well for antialiasing. But of course, the mClassic for those console games built from the 20th century is dependant on using the RetroTink's upscaling tech as well as the RetroArch's xBR.
