This is a pack that consists of fixed weapon models (corrected proportions, centered) and hi-def skins to go along with it; both made by PrimeviL and OriOn.
The "faithful" skins look like hi-res defaults, while the "alternative" skins have a new colour-scheme that's different-looking from the defaults (like a grey rocket launcher).
In order to get the skins working in Darkplaces and Tenebre, you must place them in the /id1/progs folder, in addition to naming them v_(weapon).mdl_0.png. The renaming has been done for you. Just check out the Darkplaces folder in each skin folder.
In order to get them working on other ports, let me quote PrimeviL from antoher readme he made:
"For FuhQuake/EZQuake/JoeQuake/Qrack clients, just unzip, put the model to qw\progs and the skin to textures/models." (or textures/wad for the armour).
Instructions on how to get the models working are included in the model folder.
